Foxxface dug his roots deep into graffiti in the Southern reaches of the East coast. With friends and fellow artists, he studied different techniques and approaches to expressing oneself in the public arena. However, upon moving to New York, Foxxface discovered a new location, a new direction, and a new sense of inspiration. Focusing mostly on depicting faces, the artist finds a free flowing and active approach in the actions of mark-making. This results in a collection of layers that distort and skew the features of the final form.
